Naples, Fla. – Today, Greg Folley, candidate for State House District 81, announced that he has surpassed the $600,000 mark in fundraising. In the first quarter of 2024, his campaign stockpiled $31,050, and his political committee, Friends of Greg Folley, collected $37,700. Greg has been the runaway fundraising leader in the race for the Southwest Florida seat since announcing his candidacy in May. In total, Greg has amassed over $621,000 toward defeating his opponents in the August primary.

“I’m very grateful for the generosity of our donors and their willingness to invest in the future of our state and district,” said Greg Folley. “I can’t say enough for my wonderful supporters. Thanks to their unwavering support, the campaign has been a great success. I look forward to securing a landslide victory in August and joining the great conservatives in the Florida Legislature who are fighting the good fight to keep our state the Free State of Florida.”

In addition to Greg’s strong fundraising, he has also garnered significant grassroots support from notable state and local leaders, including State Rep. Ryan Chamberlin and Naples real estate consultant Scott Lepore.

Greg is a full-time resident of Marco Island and was appointed to the City Council on June 1, 2020, to fill a vacancy. He was elected to fill the remainder of the term in November 2020 and was re-elected to a full four-year term in November 2022. From December 2022 to December 2023, he served as the Chairman of the Marco Island City Council. Greg is married to Margo, a father of nine children and two stepchildren, and is a grandfather of 11. He is a parishioner at San Marco Catholic Church.
