Update From the Campaign Trail

My Fellow Floridians,

Thank you for reading this weekly update from the campaign trail! I had a busy few weeks out in the district and look forward to sharing my activity with you. I appreciate your willingness to follow along with me on this exciting journey! My team is making a lot of progress, and I could not be more proud. With your continued trust and support, I have faith that we will take home the win on Election Day.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact me if there is a specific issue you would like me to address in the Florida House. It would be an honor to be your voice!

Collier Infrastructure Update

In recent years, Collier County has seen a great deal of growth and evolution. Last week, my fellow City Council members and I heard from the Executive Director of the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Anne McLaughlin, and the Marco Island Bike Pathway Committee Chair, Al Musico, about their plans for our community. In order to accommodate the rapid population growth happening in our area, we need to continue building and improving our infrastructure. We have several great projects that are underway or in the planning stages, and I am excited about the positive impact they will have on the lives of residents. I am proud to play an important role in the betterment of our city as the MPO Board representative.  Read more about the growth in our community by reading the article published by Coastal Breeze News.

CFO Jimmy Patronis

had the honor of dining with Florida’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Jimmy Patronis. He is an outstanding public servant who knows the state budget inside and out. We had an excellent discussion about the need to keep taxes low and our state free. We agreed on the need to focus our spending on top priorities such as roadways, clean water, and education. It is good to have such a capable expert managing our state finances. As State Representative, the district can count on me to work alongside the CFO to preserve freedom, prosperity, and the American Dream for Floridians.

Congressman Byron Donalds

Last week, I was invited as a guest of former counselors Claire Babrowski and Erik Brechnitz to a fundraiser at Hideaway Beach Club held to honor Congressman Byron Donalds. I had the opportunity to speak with Byron and a number of the other guests. Byron spoke impressively about the challenges facing our country, and we are certainly proud to have him as our representative in Washington. He is a prime example of the America-first leadership our nation desperately needs.

Meet & Greets in District 81

Over the last few weeks, I have had the opportunity to speak at some events in the community. It was great to join Joey Oliverio and some friends at a nice gathering at Doreen’s, enjoying great food and even better company. I appreciate Joey for bringing us together for a good discussion about the issues facing our state and nation.

I was very grateful to also have the opportunity to connect with members of our community at the home of Ed and Collette Dublois with an introduction by my friend, Hayden Dublois. It was an honor to share my vision for our district and discuss the issues that matter most to us all. I am thankful for District 81’s commitment to fostering civic engagement and providing a platform for productive dialogue. I want to extend my thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the event’s success. Together, we are working towards a stronger future for our district and state.

Thank you for taking the time to read this weekly update! I feel so blessed to have such strong support in the community. I cannot wait to see what is in store for my campaign in the upcoming months.

Have a great week!

Best,

Greg Folley
